- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp white sugar; add more if you want it sweeter
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled down to room temperature
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 24 Oreos, crushed finely
- 12 Oreos, coarsely chopped for decoration
Direction
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 180 degrees C. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl and set aside.
Step 2: In another bowl, add butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended. Add in dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Step 3: Now add Oreos into the batter and mix well until evenly dispersed.

Step 4: Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool down completely before removing from the pan, and remove any parchment paper you might use.
Step 5: Put half of the crushed oreos (12 cookies) on a large cutting board. On top of these crushed Oreos, place small cubes of oreo cookie pieces on top.
Place the oreo dome on the cutting board and tip it over to create a cake. If you have a cookie cutter, you can cut shapes like stars out of the cake. If not, just cut it into large pieces.
Step 6: Serve birthday cake Oreos and enjoy!
Notes:– You can substitute all-purpose flour with soy flour or use gluten-free flour if you are looking for a gluten-free alternative.
